Altadena Energy & Solar Inc, a local owner-operated solar energy developer, is seeking new members to join our expanding team. We design, engineer, install and service solar and energy storage systems in the greater Los Angeles area, with the majority of our projects in the Pasadena/Altadena area.  

 

We started our business from our home with young children. We care about and know that each team member has a whole self that includes life outside of work. We work hard to get projects done, but also support learning, well-being and work-family balance for all our team members. Solar & Energy Storage System Technician

The Opportunity…

  • repair, maintain and troubleshoot existing solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems under warranty and in our leased and PPA fleet

  • occasionally assist with installation of new systems

What you need to bring to this role…​

  • must have previous experience installing and maintaining all components of solar photovoltaic and energy storage systems, preferably certified in Enphase and/or SolarEdge platforms 

  • able to physically lift and handle materials to complete task, be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned work tasks

  • must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on roof surface

  • Excellent time management, self-motivated, and attention to details are essential to succeeding in this position

  • Excellent communication skills , customer service oriented 

  • Familiar with Google Workspace, and comfortable to learning new web-based applications 

  • Willing to attend training, to learn new knowledge in the ever-changing industry products and standards

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

  • willing to participate in pre-employment drug test

  • current legal documentation and authorization to work in the US
